Purdue definitely looking good. This is why you can’t judge a team based off one game. Wait until mid to late January and we will know who the best teams are.
Boy does this comment remind me of the Cal defenders. Every single time he lost a big game people would say well coach x also lost....
Not sure he was out coached. It was a close game. Sometimes it’s on the players.
He was effective in getting them off the 3 point line enough to win the game. He also had the advantage inside and used it, I’d say coaching had a lot to do with it. Jmho.
Bama's got some of the best guards in the game but their inside game can be taken advantage of.
Actually 16-44. Painter made it a half court game and won the game with stellar inside play.

The box score said Bama was 16-44 from three which is respectable. I’m sure Purdue had something to do with them missing some of them.

It was actually 16-44. My point was Purdue forced Bama to play their game inside which is Bama’s weakness. Bama couldn’t guard or rebound inside. Boilermakers out rebounded Bama 48-17 and outscored them at the free throw line 16-8. That’s Purdue’s game.

The point is everybody can have a bad game and lose so no one should be a hypocrite and say will Alabama still good to go but because Kentucky lost Everything is **** now for the rest of the season
Your not getting it if Kentucky basketball is the face of college basketball which we aren't and haven't been in a very very long time. Bama heaved a up a bevy of 3’s in the last minute of the game, missing all of them. The boxscore doesn’t tell the whole story. The entire tempo was dictated by Purdue

We've had some bad years for sure but we've had some good ones as well and last year with a completely new team and coach five top 10 teams and battling so many entries to keep players and making a sweet 16 first time in five years that was a good year.

How did they run them off the line? Bama had 2/3 of its shots from 3 and a ton of those were open just missed.
I absolutely LOVE the was Oats teams play. And I think he's a REALLY good coach. That said...
With 4 timeouts, down 4 points, and 45 seconds left they dribbled around the top of the key for 10 seconds and then pitched to the corner where their 3rd or 4th best shooter on the court took a contested corner 3. That was brutal. And was the game.
I don’t disagree. Just was saying Purdue didn’t run them off the line at all. It was great basketball. back and forth game that could’ve gone either way.
