SMU:[/B] Tulsa was in the game all the way at SMU, but came up short in a 67-62 loss to the Mustangs. The Golden Hurricane still has just a sweep of Temple to its name entering the conference tournament. They are in the same half of the bracket as Cincinnati. Might need to beat the Bearcats.

So now we might only have to beat the Bearcats. That is a might, I thought our poster genius already claimed we had to win the Tourney. Now we might .....might have to beat the Bearcats.

We are on the bubble mensa's that means our resume is very, very close.

We will see, time will tell.

I remember when Palm had his own website and TU was usually not only in the tournament, but winning games in it. It seemed back then he was always minimizing TU's chances. Now he's more optimistic than me, at least as far as an at large goes.

It is far from a sure thing that we even play Cincinnati. It is even possible that we have a Tulsa/Temple final, which would make it easy for the committee to leave the loser out and give the winner one of the last byes.

While I may be pessimistic when it comes to an at-large, I do believe we can win the AAC tourney. If we make the finals and lose, I will watch the selection show, but my expectations will be low.
