Here's the sad reality; the days of "recruiting and building" are over, the portal allows players to jump whenever they think they are ready to play. They don't have to wait until they are developed to see playing time.

College sports are now overblown pickup games where new teams are selected every season.

I know our record isn’t great but man, I’m watching SC be in dog fights with top 10 teams. Have to keep in mind that we are dealing with injuries.
