was a special call in guest for the Sports Voice. Interesting mention that Luke has had some nagging neck and back injuries he's been fighting this year. Certainly could explain his less than stellar play. Hope he can get healthy and back to winning.

Being a golfer myself, and an aging one at that, these little nagging injuries really make it tough to play the game. It's hard enough as it is already to play this game, but if your back is hurting, or your wrist, shoulder etc. however small it may seem, it affects play significantly. Likely you won't blow out an ACL playing golf (though Tiger came close) but it is a grinding, demanding sport. Hope Luke can get healed up and return to his stellar form.
Luke is right in the thick of things after round 1. I'd love to see him beat Tiger and seize a green jacket.
