No, the OP is right. Cal is a full of **** con-man at this point. If he had no intentions in trying to fix this mess, he should have just taken the buy-out. Mitch Barnhart put his neck out for the man. No turning back now. Cal has turned his back on everyone associated with this program. Good riddance, in my eyes.
He was probably holding out for the buyout then realized Mitch was too stupid to pay it so he decided to bail.
