I do so love it when he (again) had to eat crow...wearing an OU hat!

Finebaum went sailing in a Regatta with a friend. They were losing until Pauls friend positioned him where the wind caught Finebaums ears.
They won going away...:D

I like the way Stoops has handled Finebaum...basically said he doesn't have a need to spend any time worrying about what he thought. He's a hired gun to hype/defend a conference, that's it.

Finebaum is what he is. I listened to him about every day when I lived in Alabama, when he was just a regional personality. His schtick is riling people up. He was broadcasting out of Birmingham and goading Tide fans non-stop. I don't think he takes himself too seriously; I do think he likes stirring things up and watching the reactions. I guarantee you he loves the publicity, good and bad. Kinda like those Hollywood agents say (except for Bill Cosby's) any news is good news, as long as they're talking about you.

Yeah, I kind of figured as much.
The kind of guy that will do just about anything for the glorification of his own massive ego.

Gosh, those people...:eek:
