Has jumped on the OU bandwagon, he put them 3 on College Football Live, he also said Oklahoma is playing the best football out of any team. Go figure

Eh, such is the patently fickle nature of sudden fame...

We'll get some sincere luv from some people, others will be holding us in adulation until the next flavor of the month comes along.

Just the way it is. ;)

Joey Galloway really hates us, just because he played at Ohio State,

Not to hijack...just wanted to say that I've heard more than one pundit today say that 'in their opinion' OU would ascend to the #1 seed in the four team playoff bracket tomorrow evening.

Doesn't matter really...and for what it's worth, also heard that the committee has an eye on team placement in the semifinals with regard to proximity to the campus'.
That means they'll try to put OU at jerryworld vs whoever.
Sweet!

Wait and see what the final seeding looks like in two weeks. If they screw the Sooners, you'll wish you never said this. I feel the same as Anthony Fogle, who said today on The Franchise in OKC that he doesn't trust them one bit.

I'm gonna keep a good thought. What more can OU do?
We got the league title in a grossly overkill fashion. If they deny us it will be more to the detriment of the system than it will be to us. The word spite comes to mind.

We're in fellas. Relax and enjoy the ride.

I also believe we are in...that is not what I fear (not fear, more like know) happening...

I could see them placing OU #1 this week, simply because OU is already locked in...the others (Clemson, Alabama, Iowa) all have play-in games, and if any of them lose, they are not guaranteed a spot in the playoff like OU has already earned. From that standpoint, we could be considered #1...

I think more likely is we remain #3, but they switch Alabama and Clemson around because they will not wanna piss off Saban by slating OU vs Alabama in Arlington. Instead of making OU travel to Miami, they swap Alabama and Clemson, so it's OU vs Clemson in Arlington, and Alabama vs. Iowa/Mich St in Miami.

Heard a similar discussion on TV last week. Don't see them making OU #1 this week, although winning a conference championship IS one of the criteria for the Committee. Would cause such an uproar. Not because they made them #1, but the uproar likely to occur next week if they drop them when they didn't even play...after the other teams finish play.

I "think" if Clemson wins, we're either 2 or 3, regardless of what happens with Iowa/MSU. If Clemson loses, the Committee may have a mess on their hands as it would bring Ohio St and Stanford back into the discussion.

Wouldn't be "shocked" to see us at #2 after tonight, but likely remain at #3. We'll see.
