So where is that PSU dude who was on here trolling about a month ago, claiming that everyone at PSU had been cleared of all charges? Lol.

Denial of child abuse is an ugly thing.

Total BS that they can plea down, but Spannier looks to be the target now. I hope they all get maximum prison time, and are put in general population.

I don't claim to know all the details of this case, but I don't believe Spanier can get a fair trial. I don't believe there is enough evidence to suggest a cover up. Spanier has a pristine record in the past. The two men that pleaded down also have praised his leadership. That would undermine their ability to turn on him.

I think this whole situation is so explosive that anyone remotely connected is going to take a hit even if they don't deserve it.

For those of you who want Spanier nailed, can you share the actual evidence that leads to that conclusion?

Spanier sent a freaking email signing off on the decision not to turn the Sandusky matter over to law enforcement or child protective services, but rather to handle it internally. He even said something to the effect that this could leave the university vulnerable if Sandusky is found to still be abusing children. But golly, if the other two defendants in the case have praised his leadership, perhaps that didn't really happen.

If saying that anyone who disagrees with you about Spanier "wants him nailed" makes you feel good, congratulations. There may or may not be enough evidence to convict him and Spanier obviously deserves a fair trail, but let's get on with it instead of stalling for years and years and years.

But oh wait, my bad - the emails weren't really about Sandusky and the abused children were actually "guests." Nah, nothing to see here:

This is where us big meanies who think someone who has been indicted, and who has exhausted every stalling tactic his legal team can think of, should actually stand trial will no doubt get a stern, finger-wagging lecture about how Spanier is innocent until proven guilty. So fine - get on with the trial. If there's not enough evidence to convict him, so be it. But Spanier doesn't just get to run out the clock because he has unlimited legal resources.

I'm here and i wasn't trolling. Someone brought up Penn State. And again you're misrepresenting what I said. I said the conspiracy and cover up charges were dropped and they were. The state dropped all of the felony charges including their conspiracy narrative and got these guys to plead to a misdemeanor. Hardly a slam dunk for the state.
Listen there's no doubt mistakes were made by these admins. They thought reporting to second mile was enough based off what Mike reported and they were wrong and they should take responsibility for that.
Now we will see what happens with spanner.
I just think at this point people should be above name-calling like ped state.
Leave the petty name calling and criminalizing of people to the politicians.

18 exhausting pages on BWI board about this. It really only needed one...... post. "OUR BAD".
How is it our bad. It's curley and Schultz that Fed up. I'm a Catholic too. When a priest does something wrong is that my bad too. I went to Penn state and love football like most fans across the country. Everyone at Penn state felt bad that someone at Penn state did something wrong. But that's what they did - not Penn state or alumni or fans.

.....and i'm sure you'd feel the exact same way if the same thing had happened at Ohio State. Also, spoiler alert, JoPa is a piece of ****.

Yes its your bad too. What happened at Pedo State and the Catholic church were institutional problems. They happened because people thought the institution was too big and important. More important than little boys. Better to stick your head in the sand and worship Pope Joe Pa.

I don't know what I enjoy watching more, old video's of the JoPa statue being removed, or liberal media anchors breaking down on election night. It's pretty close.
Go to the gym. Get a dog. Read a book. Watch Fargo again. Godfather reruns. Hope this helps.
