Penn State Club Baseball advances to finals for chance at repeating as National Champs

My son was on a national championship team for club baseball at PSU 7 years ago. It was a tremendous experience and really good baseball. The World Series was a well planned event in Holly Springs that year. I have been following the club teams ever since. The D1 team won the national title last year as well.
The baseball is very good. There are some really talented kids on PSU and the other teams as well.. We have been to Alton, IL two years in a row now. They do a nice job running the tournament.
Back to Back National champions and 3 in the last 7 years
So there were 8 teams at the NCBA Division I World Series. PSU got to the NCBA World Series by winning the North Atlantic Region.
PSU was seeded #6 in the 2024 NCBA World Series. They defeated #3 seed Michigan, 5-1, in their opening game. Then they defeated #7 seed Grand Canyon, 16-13 in R2. They next faced #8 seed Florida State, who had lost their opening round game, but the WS is double elimination, and FSU had won 2 after their opening loss to advance. PSU defeated FSU 8-1. At that point they were the only undefeated team in the tournament, so they advanced to the championship. #7 seed Grand Canyon won 3 games after their loss to PSU to advance to the championship. PSU defeated Grand Canyon, 7-1, to win the championship.

In related news, West Chester U won the D2 club baseball World Series. One of my friend's sons pitches for them.
