Penn State Insider on Facebook

Anybody else notice this group on Facebook? My wife mentioned to me that Nick Singleton and Karoline Leavitt had some sort of interaction/dustup that Penn State Insider shared on FB. I told her I knew nothing about it and that I didn't think it happened. So I checked it out. It looks like someone around Orlando, FL started the group in November 2024. Their FB page prominently lists a link to Feji, a URL shortening service as well as other content like OnlyFans stuff so I'm guessing Penn State Insider could be a side interest. The site seems to just share whatever they feel like sharing, whether it's fact or not, usually not. Just like many BookFace sites. Anyhow, I'm willing to bet the encounter between Singleton and Leavitt didn't happen. It irks me that people actually believe it's a legit Penn State "News & media website".

There are tons of such sites for every pro and college team. They do a ton of false charity stories and just utter BS as they know they will get clicks. I have no idea whether or not they are true, but I stay away from any group or site that isn't the actual team or program as much as I can.

My brother forwarded me a story from Facebook that Nick Singleton signed a $750 million deal with Nike to be the face of the brand. I said, you really think that Nike is going to attach its futures to a possible day three draft pick?

I still use my compuserve email since I have so many things tied to it. Signed up for it in 1992 I believe. The good old days of the bulletin boards, lol.
