All the dreams come crashing to a sad end. But he is in the right place to continue forward with his brothers. Best of luck, Landon.

Ouch... Best wishes to him. He was destined for the NFL. Shame and a big loss.

another very sad end to a player who very likely had a future in the NFL. I am sure it happens at other places but sometimes we seem a little unlucky with player careers.

the very freak injury at UMich game where he got hurt in warm-ups - which impacted the offense right away. then he had the surgery end of last year and was recovering for spring. only made it back for limited work in spring. then absent again this summer. many were getting a bad feeling this was not trivial. cannot even imagine what he feels like.

Tough blow. Wasn't expecting this news today. All the best to Tengwall.

Having said that, who do we expect to take his spot. One door closes and another door opens. Vega Iaone?

JB Nelson is the guy that's been practicing at his position since he went out early in camp.
Ione would move up in the pecking order as well.
I remember Franklin saying either at the start of fall or camp that JB Nelson was going to be playing a lot.

Yea that stinks for Landon, feel bad for him.
I started to get a "bad feeling" when he wasn't seen at practice or at media days or even the bbq/dinner that Traut had the other day.

Sounds like JB is a road grader and very good run blocker. He has been getting a good chunk of people talking about how good he looks this year at camp. Sounds like he has taken a big step forward, and the oline needs him now. Be something to watch on saturday night.

It’s a shame. Maybe it’s just because I only really follow this team but it feels like we have less luck with top recruits than others do.
Good luck to the kid.
