Is anybody else tired of hearing the excuse of "that's what the chart says"?
Yes, the all mighty "chart" has seemingly been entirely wrong when consulted for the 3-4 plays in a game that separate wins from losses for our unit. This "chart" seems to be blamed for fake punts from our own 40, and fake kicks from the opponents 2 yard line. If we are being honest, I wish the damn chart would portal out.
Sorry, on another note, why is Lorig bemoaning our paltry kickoff return statistics? Does he not realize that he implemented a plan to fair catch every kickoff this year(I believe up until the Michigan State) game? I'm totally befuddled by his comments around that. Unless he is suggesting the head coach would not allow his unit to return them, which.....um, that wouldn't be good to say outside of closed doors.
