Penn Staters in the NFL - no busts

I can’t remember a time when I could put on an NFL game and Penn State players jumped out like they do now. I felt like the 90’s and 2000’s - even our better draft picks really didn’t do much in the pros. There were exceptions of course, but many many guys just didn’t hang around long. Contrast that with this year:

Godwin- becoming Brady’s go-to target
YGM - had 2.5 sacks against my Bills today.
Amani O - highlight reel pick
Oweh - made some huge plays for the ravens. Top 10 in ROTY voting
Parsons - no explanation needed
Robinson- always dangerous
Cabinda - FB catching TD’s…wha?
Freiermuth - already their best TE
Sanders - been dinged on a bad team, but a stud
Barkley - see Sanders with injury factor doubled
Amos - one of the most underrated safeties in football
DaQuon Jones - still delivering as a veteran
Austin Johnson - see Jones
Gesicki - still making highlight reel catches left and right.
Donovan Smith - seemed to slack off his last year at penn state, but is still a starting LT 5 maybe 6 years after being drafted.

am I missing anyone?

Jesse James still out there right? Some guys may not be superstars, but they’ve made a living playing football.

Just Gillikin as a solid punter for the Saints. 9 pints vs Bucs with a 46 yard average

I saw Juwan Johnson lining up at TE for the Saints yesterday - and promptly got called for holding - Argh!

fyi
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, receiver Chris Godwin suffered an MCL sprain that is expected to keep him out for the rest of the regular season. Rapoport adds that Godwin is a candidate for injured reserve, given that there are only three games left, and should be able to return for the postseason.

He's been playing TE all year and was doing pretty well in the games I saw him in.
Giliken is having a great year.
