Yeah, liberals are "protecting" the children. If they changed the Pepe character from a straight masher into a flaming homosexual, trans, or any other "identity" supported and approved by the "progressive" religion, the leftist social engineers would insist every child watch the show.

When I think of Pepe Le Pew, I think of Andrew Coumo

It’s all stupid, and I’m not sure when it’s going to end. And it’s all caused, propagated, and amplified solely by social media. I hate social media.

I hear I Dream Of Jeannie is next on the chopping block.

For some people it takes awhile.....

I get a disclaimer on Disney + before they show Alladin as well, and can confidently say nothing about that cartoon is offensive. I don’t even know what part of the movie the disclaimer is even referring to TBH
Lefty's are soft people. I barely even recognize one of my best friends anymore. The more liberal he becomes the more offended he gets. Vanderbilt educated white dude.

I think “cancel culture” has gone overboard to a degree, and I think a lot of people on the right are also blowing a lot of it out of proportion because all they have is culture wars anymore since they abandoned virtually all their other principles, but this is justified.

He constantly forced himself on women without consent. That’s not something that kids should come away from a cartoon thinking is acceptable or funny behavior.

I am now confused. Pepe Le Pew has a "French" accent. France is dominated by Caucasians. How is Pepe Le Pew a racist caricature? Your wokeness has sprung a leak.

We were talking about Disney taking 4 movies off young kids' profiles (but leaving them on the streaming service in general) - movies from well in the past that had racist caricatures in them. Do try to keep up.

I agree that obviously we don't want kids thinking that kind of behavior is acceptable. That being said, I don't think most of us learned acceptable behavior from cartoons. Kids are also intelligent enough to understand the difference between how they should be acting and what they see on a cartoon. I think these kinds of attitudes are offensive because it assumes people are stupid and without some outside interference we would all be running around killing and raping each other. It's just ridiculous.

I give up anymore...Soon it will be easier to let us now what isn't cancelled and what we're allowed to say. These people need to get a real job and focus their efforts on being productive members of society instead on their self-serving egotistical agendas.
