What is yours?

I'll get the ball rollin'. One of mine is a picture of a layered entrée item prominently displayed either in a restaurant at the point of sale or in some other published advertisement that is far more eye appealing and robust than the actual product served. When eating the picture is a better option than consuming the actual product, there could be something wrong in Denmark.

Pedestrians
Coming from the Plains (Oklahoma/Texas), one rarely has to pay attention for pedestrians. Traffic flows.
Out here, it's such a grind to drive at all because there are pedestrians at every intersection and every cycle. In addition, every person that's a pedestrian is probably the least equipped to be a pedestrian.

How about the customer at the fast food drive thru window arguing incessantly with the cashier with a full line of cars behind them. Instead of taking their complaint indoors and allowing others to be served, they prefer to own the situation at the expense of others. The customers waiting resort to honking their horns in futility.

I have too many pet peeves... but it I so dislike using a CC to pay for gas, pump the gas, and then the pump tells me to "See Cashier for Receipt". Are you kidding me? It's friggnin' paper. The cashier needs to get their *** out there and install a roll of paper.

I beg to differ...Not for argument's sake, but only because of the way I was taught.

Saying 'I couldn't care less' is using a double negative...n't and less, so is considered a No-No, which ISN'T a double negative. Is it any wonder that furriners have a difficult time learning a language that we have yet to master?

The Grammar Police are off duty this week...Speak the way you choose, whether or not it's correct...We all know whatcha mean, Irregardless!
