My wife and I, along with our Louisiana family, attended the LSU game yesterday afternoon and it was without a doubt the wildest and loudest basketball games I have ever attended. The game last year in Norman against Ks was loud but not anything near the level of 15,000+ LSU fans at the Maravich Center. Yes, we all proudly wore our OU attire (there were 6 other OU fans right in front of us). For the most part, the LSU fans were very gracious. As for the game ... it was something to hear the air gush out of the arena when Cousins hit that last shot.

Great experience and Boomer Sooner!

Good story Pryor. I always told my wife when we retire I'd love to either move to the Ozarks or Louisiana. Is that crazy thinking?

Yankee, I had the pleasure of working in the southern part of Oman near the Port of Salalah. It was a new and very modern port and the developer of the port was a guy from Virginia that was nearing retirement. The guy had been to every corner of the world and had the means to retire anywhere. I got to know him pretty well and asked him where he was going to retire.....his response...."Lake Tenkiller in Oklahoma". We can be attracted by things that no one else can understand.

'Kentiller', as my sons called it, from the time they were very young, DOES have a Special Attraction for many...It's a Good Getaway from all that's noisy, ugly, and BUSY...
