In their last game, Purdue Fort Wayne won 111-31 over Manchester University. Yikes!

Of course, they lost their first game of the year at Michigan by 19.

Their other game is a, probably unimpressive, 5 point win against Illinois Edwardsville.

They are an experienced group that shared first spot in the Horizon League last year. Their 5 tops scorers are 1 JR and 4 SR. So it might get interesting.

LOL. If you want to see a list of schools you have never heard of, look at the schedule for the Manchester University Spartans.

Maybe the Cats can get an invitation to the Otterbein Smokey Ballenger Classic next year?
Sir, looking at that schedule, they play Franklin, 15 minutes away from my house. They also play Hanover, alma matter of one Woody Harrelson and one Mike Pence.

So, I guess my point is, choose your words Sir.

Do you live in Hooterville?

Huh, Transylvania is in Kentucky. That explains a few things...
I actually went to a basketball camp at Transylvania when I was a kid. Of course, I was never great at basketball, so that isn't saying much for Transylvania.

I went to a basketball camp at Merrimack College in MA which was hosted by Mike Dunleavy. I mainly recall watching Brian Winters shoot “around the world” and it took him 10 shots before he even touched the rim; every one a perfect swish!

And Michigan got destroyed last night by unranked Arizona State. They were never in it. I think the 'Cats handle the Mastadons by double digits

I went to the Tim Hardaway Basketball Camp in El Paso.
Since I started this little side topic...

I also attended the Magic Johnson Basketball Camp in East Lansing when I was in high school. For one segment, Magic was talking to us (one of the few times he was actually at the camp) and his guest lecturer was Isaiah Thomas. They called me and my buddy out to do a little 2-on-2 drill with a couple other campers. My friend made a great pass to me and I proceeded to miss a wide-open 15 foot jump shot to end the drill. I was do despondent, I bent over in frustration. Isaiah ran over and picked me up and slapped me on the butt. At the time, I thought it was the greatest thing - though I guess Isaiah got in some trouble for being a little too handsy later on in life.

I sent the boy to Chris Collins basketball camp several years ago.

He was very impressed with Olah and spent some time chatting with him.

Don’t forget the Bong Recreation Area in Wisconsin. Must have been some interesting Bball camps there….
