Great regular season for Pick’M 2024. Thanks to all who played, I enjoy the few minutes of distraction it provides. Now we wait to see who leads our beloved Mountaineers in football.

As usual I put out the Army/Navy game for an unofficial Pick’M. I just like the game and the two service academy’s have the spot light. As you pick, if you served, feel free to identify your branch of service, and thank you.

As far as the bowl games and CFP, I would be happy to defer to 3xWVUenginEER so that he could return to his rightful place.

Sat 12/14 3:00PM CBS Navy vs Army Total points scored.

My Pick:

Army. 48Pts

ARMY 20

But Closer than the score indicates. Most generally it is very close

Maybe Jeff Monken leaves a winner!
From West Point to West Virginia
Although I have no idea why any coach would ever leave any of the Academies, unless they just get tired and need new scenery.

As for Bowl Pick’m, let me dip my toe back in the water and go slow.

Edit: I just heard that WVU hired Rodriguez back. If that’s the case my fandom for WVU football is most likely gone. I’m still and will always be an Alum, but I can’t support this.

It’s a totally different reason than Neal Brown. I wish you guys the best. Maybe I’ll just follow the service academies or something or increase my hunting, fishing, farming, and vacationing.

This feeling reminds me of 12/1/2007. Actually it’s worse. I guess E Gordon Gee’s life mission for WVU is nearing completion.
