I thought when I clicked this it would’ve about speaking voices. For that I defer to the late, great Ernie Anderson
Great movie !! I used to get together every year with a good friend to watch it. Sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago. We both loved this film and everything about it.
I can’t decide, but it would be one of Chris Cornell or Chris Isaak, depending on what mood I’m in.

I'll go with Robin Trower's bassist James Dewar. One of the most underrated voices in rock and roll.
To be front man for a band, Freddie Mercury.

If we were doing speaking voices, I'd want to sound like Bill Nighy. But in his recent movie Living. he sings a folk song that will bring you to tears. BTW. I recommend Living which apparently made it to around 5 theaters in this country.
I like the Paul Rodgers picks in this thread. Somewhat unexpected. He's vastly underrated IMO.

To know that Freddie was nearing his deathbed when he recorded this makes it that much more amazing. Truly the greatest voice in rock music.

I’m going with Mickey Thomas. The dude is 72 years old and still sings those Starship songs in the original key. Absolutely amazing what he can do with his voice still at that age.
