Good article

The two coaches were fresh off a visit to Minnesota where they visited Pitt transfer Jaland Lowe, and discussed with Pierre about the two potentially playing together, among other players. This is interesting, as some believed that it would be one or the other. It also says that Kentucky is looking to have Pierre play more off the ball if he were to come to Kentucky.

But what happened to Pierre visiting Kentucky?

I'm guessing the "dead Period" has something to do with the Final Four being this weekend and teams and so many coaches all travelling for that creating unfair advantages to some schools to court players when others can't. Just spitballin'.
Yeah you're probably right but like we all know on here who the hell actually follows the rules anymore it's like the wild wild west...

The NCAA is like a deadbeat parent who only shows up on holidays but they can never enforce any rules because the courts have taken away all of their custody. The NCAA is like it in that way but you best believe they are still sucking in that child support money.

This is, by far, the best reason for this dumb dead period crap that I have read. It definitely makes sense.

Do not know if "off-ball" will benefit or hurt us.

Because some combo guards would like to only play pg (see demary)...

That is a pretty excellent backcourt of guys who can all get minutes at some combination of the 1/2/3 spots, defend at a decent level, and we definitely would have increased our athleticism and play-making on the perimeter.

“Mecca of college “. ….I did t know we are recruiting players for Saudi Arabia…

If he does not go to NBA he will be a good addition. Since we are going after international flavor, I like the Princeton guy next to him.

He scored a lot points but did it off fairly crappy shooting, with more turnovers than assists. Fine FT shooter but unless he lived at the line and only had that real low shooting percentage from getting hammered so hard, at times when he turned around and made his free throws, I’m kind of curious who would want to give this guy all-SEC honors.

I’m sure there are several portal guys that would say yes if Pope asked, but he is still being selective. My guess is that we add someone that goes thru the NBA process and withdraws at the deadline.
