Pistol Pete Maravich: None better before or since!

I loved the guy. Sadly, he died at age 40 of heart failure. RIP.
1. Did his teams ever win.
2. for me, he was the first dribble, dribble, dribble 1 on 1 player, the kind of basketball I don’t like ( Sports for me is all about the team and the synergy that it does or does not bring).
3. Did you check his plus/ minus.
Had great individual skills, I certainly agree with that view, but……

You are absolutely correct.
Much of the video commentary points this out just like you said.
It took him years to realize that he had teammates!!
"Pistol Pete" was a phenomenal passer as well as prolific scorer. He revolutionized the open court game.
