So if a batter doesn't get in box in 8 seconds & a strike is called, does that count as a pitch? OR, can the pitcher have a two-pitch K?

Conversely, if pitcher doesn't deliver in 20 seconds & a ball is called, does that count as a pitch? I suppose pitcher can stand on mound for 80 seconds & never throw the ball for an intentional walk.

How will teams & scorekeepers keep track?

Asking for a friend.

Those are good questions It wouldn't count as a pitch But definitely a strikeout, How else would you score it?
