In todays world, Hollywood would still get a pass.
Bradshaw lacks the intelligence to come up with something like that. If it were suggested to him, he'd just look dumbfounded and ask, "what's a cat?"

Bradshaw has reinvented himself time and time again and still relevant while Henderson? Hmmmm
Henderson funds and runs a charity for at-risk youth in Austin, TX. He also lectures extensively in prisons, to church gatherings, to AA groups, and just about any other organization that will give him a platform on the dangers of drug use. Bradshaw's reincarnation of Junior Samples is certainly much more "relevant."

Thanks for sharing. Bradshaw was a great QB and a member of the greatest team and greatest dynasty in NFL history.

Undefeated in 4 SuperBowls.

10 Hall of Fame players, 5 on offense and 5 on defense.

A hall of fame head coach in Chuck Noll.

Winning those 4 Super Bowls within a 6 year time span is an incredible accomplishment by Chuck Noll’s team.

I remember seeing that Henderson did that. Good for him.

I'm a Steelers fan but not a Bradshaw fan. That being said, this article about Franco has this tidbit.

"The minute I throw the ball, Franco takes off," Bradshaw recalled. "And I ask him, 'What made you run downfield.' And he said at Penn State, Joe Paterno told the running backs that when the quarterback releases the ball, to run to the play. Run to the ball. And had he not been taught that by Paterno, he would not have released and gone downfield. And that's exactly what he did, and that's why he caught that pass."

...as is his bank account.
As I am fond of quoting Mencken in that "no one ever went broke by underestimating the intelligence of the American people" I offer as Exhibit A that rotgut marketed as a bourbon under his name.

I, too, am a huge fan of Mencken, who also said, "There is an easy answer to every human problem. Simple. Plausible. And wrong."

Mencken only got one thing right in his entire life so he knew.

What is your beef with Terry Bradshaw?

Thanks for posting Alpha , the guy had a cannon for an arm , was blessed with two great recievers and a solid TE in Randy Grossman , a very underrated O line . and two solid backs . Once he learned the pro game he became great .

No, just most of the time. BTW - ever heard of Margaret Sanger?
Casual racism and Jew hate was a thing back then. Eugenics, too: Buck v. Bell. There’s no point in saying that A was worse than B. If we decided to play that game, we’d never finish. I was going to mention a couple of writing contemporaries of Mencken but instead deleted.

"Casual Jew hate? ""The case against the Jews is long and damning; it would justify ten thousand times as many pogroms as now go on in the world".

My last comment on this way OT subject: Sanger's quest was as far from 'casual racism' as a comment can be.

And some people were much more fully invested in this than others, sure. There’s casual racism and there’s Robert Lee Moore, to name a mathematician.

I had never before seen that last quote from Mencken. Wow, that’s really something. Yet, you can say that you are fond of quoting Mencken, and I can read this without the slightest belief that this somehow reflects poorly on your character. I guess, flaws and all, he had something important to say.

Growing up, Terry was my favorite player from a team of many superstars. My mom jokes that she almost named me Terry, so I guess I didn’t have much of a choice back then. Regardless, he’s still a character who has taken an entire lifetime to “mature”….while I recognize his many flaws, my inner child will always be a huge fan of the original TB12.
