But in general we haven’t been able to get five guys playing team defense. How we gonna get ten guys playing team defense?

Just because he redshirts doesn't mean he'll need 4 more years to reach his college potential. I say stick to the plan and let him physically mature. He's got lot's of upside and can help us next year.

Remember what it was like watching Sheray Thomas, and Bobby Perry? Hawthorne isn’t the answer, he needs time to develop if he wants to help which says a lot because we need the help.

It would be worth a try old forty minutes of hell full court press maybe a little zone to try and stop quick guards from getting so many layups

They were maybe the least talented starting forwards of all time at Kentucky. Luckily we have a better talent level now, and Hawthorne is much more talented but does need more time.

In more recent years think Daimion Collin’s, that’s his skill level currently. Love the kid, good attitude, good heart and very athletic but not ready for this level yet.

I agree, play him if he has as much talent as we're hearing about. I don't want to hear how good he is, I want to see how good he is.
