If we win out, big if, but who would be a better 3 loss team than us? If we can beat Missouri and Clemson it’s a huge statement. Problem is we lost to LSU who is also looking like a 3 loss team. Someone else needs to beat them after tonight, if they lose this one.

I honestly can't name a team in the land that we couldn't beat on a given night. The horrible officiated game against LSU will keep us out of the playoffs. That's sad because for the first I can remember this gamecock team can line up against anyone and have a shot.
Agree, we probably can’t get in, but we could beat most teams that will get in.
I called it already but..... another poster pointed out the truth of the matter. Just look at the current top 12.... and their records. Every single one of them would have to have a monumental collapse this month, and I just don't see that happening in reality.

Personally, I think it’s better if we don’t make the playoffs. If you get in as a three lost team, I think it really deemphasizes the regular season. It would be good for this team to come back next year knowing what they missed out on. Hopefully it makes you hungrier to take care of the little things in games like LSU and Alabama that cost us our shot. If we were to make it this year with three losses, it necessarily gives you the mindset next year that “well we can make it with three losses”.

Agree, but I think we could be a 3-loss team which could do some damage, and nobody would want to play.
