Our boys have checked out. It was playoffs or bust to them and I'm afraid that Michigan may embarrass the cards.

Rose Bowl: Penn State vs. Southern Cal
Sugar Bowl: Auburn vs. Oklahoma
Orange Bowl: Louisville vs. Michigan
Cotton Bowl: Wisconsin vs. Western Michigan

CFP
Peach Bowl: Alabama vs. Washington

Wrong. Only people who have "checked out" are short-sighted fans like yourself, who had their feelings hurt during those two tough weeks.

We took a big step backward in November because a fast, stingy defense had one glaring weakness (lack of quality depth) that was exposed late when it became banged-up. That banged-up squad will be much healthier for the bowl game, and we'll have lots of time to prepare for our opponent. Wouldn't want to play us.

Michigan has been in the talks to for the FF. Maybe their bubble is busted too.

Who says they're excited about the OB either?

At least ours will have busted long enough ago to get some mojo back.

I disagree about embarrassing the CARDS.

I'm very fearful of it after the last two showings we made.

I think FSU gets Orange over us vs Michigan.

UofL gets Citrus vs LSU or possibly Tenn.

But Penn State had two losses. They don't have much of an argument to make. If they had the same record then I would agree but they don't.

Ohio State got left out of the playoff last year despite only losing one game and winning the conference. And if any of the top four deserved to get bounced, it was Washington.

The playoffs should obviously be an eight team playoff since no one is getting rid of the bowl system.

Use the four prestigious BCS bowls as regionals then market the next round as the Final Four like we have now. It adds one more week to the season. Even though it would never happen, get rid of the conference championship games and it's even better and no extra games are played.

Power 5 champions, highest ranked non power conference champ and two wild cards and things would look good (to me at least).

So, if you do away with the P5 conference championship games, how do you determine the P5 champions of each league?o_O:rolleyes::confused:

Straight up standings. In the off chance that there's a tie, that's why there would be a wildcard or specific tiebreaker.

I don't have it quite figured out, just the concept.
