I definitely think the starting lineup he went with is our best 5 even though the start was horrendous. I’m not sure I want to see Garrison play basketball ever again. He just doesn’t get it. Mo is in some type of funk that doesn’t even seem basketball related and he can’t be relied on for anything. Such a disappointment from a guy I thought would be the glue for this team. I’d like to see Jaspers minutes increase. We have to start thinking of next year at this point.

Agree on Mo.

I was expecting a more athletic Chuck Hayes and we wound up with more muscular Sheray Thomas.

The bad

BG - 12
Diaboute -9
Johnson -8

The Good

Moreno +10
Jelly +8
Oweh +6
Aberdeen +6
Williams +2
Chandler +2

Read the chart Pope and adjust your minutes
The problem is it's different each game. That's what happens when you build a team of 12 role players. One game they are good, the other they are bad. That's why Pope is so lost when it comes to lineups and rotations. You need to go out and get elite players, which takes pressure off the inconsistent role players.

Jasper didn't look good at all tonight to me but he has to step up his game now that Lowe is done.

He may be unplayable Sat@ UT.
He just doesn't seem ready to run the point especially against a quality opponent.
Seems like he telegraphs his passes, Pope took him out tonight for a good bit after a lazy telegraphed pass that got stolen by the UK bench. He also looks a step slow, he could beat his man off the dribble more if he works on his crossover dribble imo.

He just doesn't seem to have any confidence when he comes into games plus I don't think he really has a grasp of the offense .
Two things you can't have in a pg..

I think this is fair. I also think its fair that the team still wouldn't be great, they are probably 13-4 instead of 11-6 if they hadn't suffered all the injuries they have. Lowe and JQ are certainly not AD and MKG, but if you took those two off off the last Championship team we had, does that team even make the S16?

He used the crossover dribble a few times against Miss St & it worked, he just needs to perfect it. Crossover dribbles with the right lean & hesitation can help guards that are not extremely quick. He may get frustrated with Pope using him as a PG & leave? It wouldn't shock me, you never know what's going on inside these kids heads.

Diaboute has been a major disappointment. He needs to turn it around.

Kentucky has good guards. The trio, when playing well, of Aberdeen, Oweh, and Chandler can be extremely dangerous.
