Poll: Did you pick Duke to win the tournament (Duke fans only please)

I have no agenda here. I'm just curious to see how many people choose their favorite team in the bracket. I know I do. If you have filled out multiple brackets, then base your answer on whether you picked Duke in half or more of the brackets.

I don't understand what you find to be ignorant about the question. Some fans fill out brackets with their heart and pick their own team irrespective of whether they actually are playing at that level or not. Some fans do not. I'm certain that a greater percentage of fans pick a team than the public at large, but I also think lines of regression would tend to parallel one another when comparing those 2 populations. I've posted this poll on several boards and I'm just looking to see if the number of people picking their own team appears to rise and fall with more objective analyses such as "Vegas odds." Is that so ignorant?

Yes I did. I had them in my bracket beating Michigan State. Duke is always the national champion in my eyes. I love my team so I am always going to pick them. That's why I bleed Duke blue

Did you start this same thread on Kentuckys board? Michigan st board? UVA board? Oregon board? Or any of the other 67 teams board? Why here?

Yes, I started virtually the same poll on the KU board, UK, UNC, and WVU. I may do others, but I started with those 5.

Yes, he/she is a good poster from what I can remember.

I did not and never choose Duke to win it all. I never bet on the teams I root for.

I didn't pick them. Have in the past (2001, 1992) when they won.

Picked them also in years they didn't win: '86, '88, '89, '90, '98, '04 and I think in 2006? (the year they lost to LSU in the regionals). Haven't picked them since to win it all.

Honestly, I pick them at least in one bracket I do. I think every fan picks their team at lest in one bracket even if it's for fun. I have faith every year they can win. It may be silly or sound stupid but I'm a Duke fan regardless.

I picked UNC. If they don't win it with the roster they have it is a shame. The only way I can see them losing is being screwed by the refs. OFC
