Luke definitely. He was the only one awake the whole game. Something about the flow of both teams just seemed to be off. I'm sure our boys were just hungover from the unc game especially with it being less than 48 hours.

Jones was absolutely terrific on Blossomgame, but Luke gets the nod. There was a stretch where he decided Duke wasn't going to lose.

15 in a row, 17 out of 19 when no one else seemed to have the urgency? Pretty easy game ball IMO. How great is it having two guys who on any given day can take the game over? I wonder if people still think our lineup is better without Allen and Kennard together at the same time.

Those folks have quieted down quite a bit as they have started forming one of the best duos in the country.

When someone scores 25 of a team total 64, it's near impossible not to give him the gameball, which I did. Luke bailed us out on the offensive end in the 2nd half. That said, Matt was terrific against Blossomgame. He only had 3 baskets (3 of 12), one a putback, and the other 2 in transition (one off a steal against Grayson.

Another thing I would like to say about Duke's play yesterday. Our Big 3, only one of them played well. Think about that. With all the stuff that went on, an emotionally draining game against Heels, quick turnaround in a trap game between UNC & UVA against a pretty damn good Clemson team...and only one of our Big 3 scored in double digits. Luke was the only double digit scorer on the team. Considering all things, I'm fairly satisfied with the win.
We didn't play well, and yet we won...that's encouraging.

Agree with OAD here. Can't emphasize enough how hard it is to go from a hugely emotional win to an afternoon game less than 48hours later. Especially with a number of freshmen that are integral cogs in our lineup. All I wanted yesterday was a W. I knew it would be ugly, I knew it would have to be a grind. Didn't make it any less stressful to watch but a win is a win. Now we have a few days off and need to focus our attention on continuing to get better and more cohesive. Huge game on Wednesday.

How could it even be in discussion, without his 25 points we are dead in the water.

Battle,Battle,Battle, that's what everyone did with what energy they had left, but Luke had what was needed the most when it counted, scoring. Great effort by a tired team!
Go Duke!
