Solid looking D out there but the basket had a lid on it for quite awhile.

Hard pick for me:

Amile was very much back to close to his pre-bruise gameplay. Was great in the game on both ends of the floor. Love all his blocks.

Jayson getting going in the first part of the second half was huge.

Grayson looked to be having a decent game assist wise then blew up in the second half of the second half scoring.

Jackson managed to keep from fouling and gave us some great assists

Ummm is it possible to not pick any one? I know Grayson kinda exploded late and Amile had a good game. But I don't think they had great games. The whole team just seemed asleep. I'm not bashing this team. I'm really not. But very good or great Duke teams blow out this Pitt Team or that State team in Cameron. I'm concerned. They've had time with everyone getting healthy so we can't use that excuse anymore. Yes, K just got back and that's big. But Duke should have been in blow out mode. 2 road wins. K back. In Cameron. And just flat.

I understand. I mean Grayson gets it. Maybe I'm just frustrated with how the whole season has gone. And I know how great the ACC is but I just feel like we are sleep walking. I dont post here a ton and if you look at my previous posts, I never criticize. Ever. Is it wrong to just want more than we are showing?

I don't think it's wrong at all to want more than what they are putting on the floor right now, I just hope it comes together by tourney time because if it does it's going to be a fun run, and they definitely have a higher ceiling than what they putting out there right now but it may not come together in time. Only time will tell.

Grayson for how he was in money time. He had 3 points total with 7 minutes left and finished with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Jackson, Tatum and Jefferson were all solid. I still say Duke goes as Grayson goes

Maybe. I actually think getting something from Giles, Bolden and Jeter is the most important thing. When the season started, I'd assume most here thought we would be able to go in or out offensively. Dominate the boards on both ends. It's not happening.

I don't think it's clicked for any team yet, that's why I like our chances. We're still developing and I'm seeing progress defensively and our freshmen are improving. If we keep making positive steps, we're gonna be a tough out come March.

I agree. Kansas and Baylor both lost at home, Arizona got throttled, Virginia gave up 44 in 2nd half of their loss, so it's not like there's a dominant team right now. I don't know what will happen moving forward but I know Duke is improving and that scares the rest of the country

But all of those teams have had moments where it has clicked. We don't. 10 minutes here, 15 there. If we can beat Carolina and maybe do so somewhat convincingly, then I'll start to think things are starting to go well

We haven't seen the best of this team yet. I really believe we are going to see it this year and it's gonna be AWESOME. So Duke haters start loading up on your excuses whether they should be Grayson should be in jail , easy road to the final four officiating Coach K faking it, Coach K intimidating everyone or what ever lame reason you can come up with we're gonna win it all. Grayson was clutch. He made some huge shots for us, and gets my vote. That incredible layup against stiff D was a thing of beauty. Amile was really good, Jayson had a very nice 2nd half, and Frank ran the point well.

I'm really pleased with the way our team played today. If our shots had fallen earlier we would have won comfortably. Everyone seems to be on the same page, and the ball is moving on offense. The defense was really good, even though Pitt made some tough shots. It's starting to come together.

On to the Heels! GTHC, GTH!!!

Bottom line, this team will go as far as Grayson takes it. Granted, we are not quite there yet, but there is still time, and we have all seen what "K" can do with a team and a little time! When Duke gets back to playing like they did in the GT game (and they will), it will be time to fasten your seat belts! Be patient, It's Gonna Be OK!
