At a point in this game with Jones down, Plumlee with 4 fouls I was fully expecting to come on this board and compliment the team's fight.

What do you know - with two hands tied behind our back and on their floor no less we take the game.

Ingram has my vote again. He was fantastic in the 2nd half but Allen and Plum 3 were also. Ingram just wouldn't let us lose.

Absolutely the team!

Big props to Thornton at the end with his defense! That was a huge block on Berry and smart play by Ingram to tip the ball off to the side!

Definitely team, because Duke had to have contributions from so many places, and they got it.

I went with team because every player on the team simply refused to lose this game for their teammates. On a side note, I love Chase's attitude. He doesn't let the small amount of playing time he's gotten get to him or get him down and after the clock hit 0, he was one of the first players to jump up off the bench and go crazy celebrating.

Coach K. Duke won because our coach is waaaaay better than theirs. Yes the team sucked it up, but K makes them ready to do so.

I don't know how any of you could vote for K. I mean, he played Marshall Plumlee for 35 minutes! Chase only played 5! For UNC, Roy played Brice Johnson for 33 minutes and Luke Maye (LUKE MAYE!) played 5 minutes. That's as much as Chase got! Johnson got to rest for 7 minutes and Maye got time to develop. Geez, why can't our coach be like Roy? We had 5 guys play a total of 186 minutes. K won't give our bench a chance. And for what? A one-point win on the road in the ACC vs our biggest rival who is ranked 15 spots higher than us in the polls? Psh! How does winning a game on the road in the ACC vs our biggest rival prepare us for next year?!?1?! Huh?!?1?! It's like K only cares about this year this year. Gah!

I voted for the whole team because that's what it took. It took a team effort to win especially being down to basically five men! I am worried about Matt Jones though. I know he sprained his ankle. I hear it was a pretty bad sprain and that's all I know. Has anyone else heard any updates on Matt Jones?

I sprained my ankle 2 1/2 weeks ago. It still hurts. I do keep running on it every day, but still.

K has decided he is only going to play 4 from now on. He released this statement this morning:

"He's doing a little bit on the court, but we would put him in harm's way, I think, in putting him to where he's really playing. There's progression. Whenever you have some progression, you have to see what that little bit does to his recovery. Does it knock him back? We're in that process now. It's been a long seven weeks."

Oh, whoops. Did I say this morning? I meant a couple weeks ago. About Amile.

I wanted to vote for the team and for Coach K but since I couldn't I just voted for Coach. Just an amazing coaching job. and to see what he did with what he had to work with and the circumstances he had to deal with compared to how Roy handled his team just goes to show you how amazing of a Coach Mike is. Great, Great win!!!

FWIW, I include K with team, not that you have to but I think, while he doesn't play, he's every bit as part of it.

Lord I love Duke. After the Panthers Super bowl loss, this was a pretty dang nice consolation prize.

First time I have ever gave my game ball to the "Team"! Like I said in the game thread, that was one of the best efforts by a Team that I have ever seen. I don't think you can find a performance like that, where a Team was so outmanned, yet never gave up. Proud of these kids.
Go Duke!!

I don't often put "Team" as an option. BUT, when I have difficulty picking my personal winner amongst 3, 4 or more of the best players of the evening I believe I have to put it in as an option.
