I am currently at deep breath and relax but transitioning quickly to Dean-O .... I really wanted Hartline for PSU.

Listen y'all, we can't unfuck this search process at this point 😂 - Kraft missed on "his" guys, PSU will have a head coach next season, and any PSU fan should be hoping whoever Kraft hires goes undefeated in spite of how comically bad this process has gotten (the fact our recruiting has somehow bottomed out worse than the Sandusky scandal - when we didn't know if we would have a football team the following year - is on Kraft and his handling of this search; Kraft fired Franklin and then let all of the coaches joining him soon in Blacksburg remain with the program and in regular contact with recruits for the rest of the season. People can remain delusional that Kraft's "master plan" is still playing out until we hire a coach, but his plan also resulted in whoever we hired not even having the opportunity to keep certain players in this class committed and entirely reliant on the transfer portal - since that went great at UNC this year).

Although the coach at UNC is a lifetime .500 coach without a certain player. Everyone is now seeing what an average at best coach he is...

Mentally checked out of this abortion a good while ago. Literally don't care anymore about college football as it's been broken beyond repair in my opinion. Focus has shifted 100% to my favorite sport of wrestling. Wrestled decades ago, and still love the man-on-man nature of the competition.

Kraft just doing his due diligence in the search. Don't want to hire the wrong type of person. He must uphold all of JoePa's fundamentals and make sure we are at the top academically. We do things the right way.

1) Analysis Paralysis
2) Risk Averse

Taking nearly 2 months to hire a football coach says Kraft is overwhelmed right now.

paying players + portal = just another consumable product. My new M is my first car I haven’t installed a STATE license plate bracket since I graduated , Moms new car the same. I’ll get my fun going to LA, Seattle and Eugene a dozen strong. Maybe even a new big boy tv in my man area. Cant imagine doing season tix.

I am spending way way way too much time following this stupid story. What a chump I can be.

They have made it easy to get sucked in, but you have to check your sanity at the door. Oh, and plan on completely losing any sense of humor you ever had.

Well I agree with your analysis of Kraft but in all fairness to Fenchak, I think he was being sarcastic.
