I think this John Lynch guy is out in space and guessing. Probably reads a bunch of message boards.

How is RR even on the list, have people forgotten he bailed before our Festa bowl game and went to Michigan? No, no and no.

In fairness, neither WVU nor Rod handled things well. Rod claims WVU reneged on promises made to him when he turned Alabama down. WVU claimed some things were against NCAA rules. People learn from mistakes and have regrets. If he’s interested, I do not see anything wrong in considering him. He won a lot here.

I agree with you but he was also crazy lucky with Pat White, Steve Slaton, and Owen Schmitt working out as well as they did.

But if he brings in a paper shredder look out.

He did, but he also won 8-9 a year before them. I don’t know if he can or cannot replicate that success here again or not. Johnny Majors won a NC at Pitt in 1976. Came back to Pitt in the early 90’s and couldn’t win more than 4 games. Who knows.
