Which game were you best at any one point in your life?

Add other game like horseshoes, frisbee golf, badminton, croquet etc. if applicable.

Pool. I can confidently say I am a good pool player.

Anytime I thought I was good at ping pong, someone decent priced me otherwise.

never bowled better than 210s and only got that high a few times. Usually bowl around 130-170

Decent at darts among my peers but would get beat by anyone worth a damn.

Obvi not that good if you call it pool and not billiards?

This is sarcasm

I was pretty good at bowling after high school and before college. Used to bowl twice a week with some friends and we all consistently were throwing over 200 after a few months.

Used to play the piano, but haven't picked one up in years.

Trap... last time I went to the range (2 years ago) I broke 97 out of 100 from 16 yard line. Shot with 2 guys that are older than me. 1 broke 100.. The other 91.

Golf..Held a 5 handicap 25 years ago. I am so beaten up from football, basketball, and just living I had to give it up 10 years ago. Might have been the most fun I have ever had with my clothes on.

Now second guessing is my forte..

Good at bowling, enough to where people who don’t know better think I’m amazing.

Always enjoyed ping pong and thought I was good until I played the Asians at the Student Center at UK 😂

Met Minnesota Fats at the Stockyards Restaurant in Nashville years ago. He was a host/maskot for them. A guy asked him for an autograph. Fats reached in his pocket and brought out an ink pad and a stamp. Guy was too lazy to even sign.
I do that. Because I don't wash my hands afterwards all the time. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Haven’t thought of the Stockyards in years. It was probably my father’s favorite restaurant. I remember getting some damn good prime rib.

In it's day, it was as good as it got in Nashville. Private rooms for 10-12 people with great food. Ask your Dad about the rooster fries... Their club was down in the basement. The Bullpen... Great entertainment, gorgeous waitresses, and solid drinks.

They had an upstairs bar that was great also. I had a room full of customers with us, and slipped out to go over there to see what was happening on one trip. Looked up on the stage and thought I recognized the guy that was tuning up to play... Don McLean... I went up and asked him if he was going to do the song.... He told me it would be later... When I got rid of the customers I walked in with a couple of guys that I worked with... He saw me and yelled " here it is Kentucky guy.".. Played The Day the Music Died...

I’ve always been solid at beer pong. I play a lot of disc golf these days and am getting pretty good at it. My superpower would be my ability to drink copious amounts of alcohol. Always had the longest keg stands and the fastest beer bongs.

Shoulder replacement has slowed me down (and my swing speed), but turned 50 this summer and am going to try to get my game back in shape for some senior events

Won singles and doubles tournaments in racquetball, years back.

Will never forget one guy when we played, he would on purpose hit you in the back of the legs, damn it hurt.

Salute to you! I played that in my early 30s, never picked up so many injuries in such a short period of time in my life, got a runner up in Club “C“ group tourney, which honestly had some very good athletes younger than I then. I played with a back support attached to my shorts my last year of competing, my future wife said “That’s really sexy, told her I wasn’t out there for sex!” What finished my enthusiasm was briefly knocking a 6-4 guy out with my backhand, never saw him until I followed through, he had a bad habit of crowding his opponents. I caught him before he hit the hard floor, but at 5-10, was holding a load.

Exactly, couldn’t stop going to my right once, hit my shoulder against the wall, couldn’t comb my hair for several days back when I had some. My wife enjoyed meeting Racquet Club owner at the time, early 1980s, Don Kessinger, the very good Cubs’ SS she watched play when she had lived in Chicago. I also met the state of Ky Hall of Famer and ex UK basketball/baseball player, Randy Embry, who was a very good amateur racquetball player through a close mutual friend on their way to a tourney in Memphis....great guy with only good things to say about Coach Rupp and UK.

Kessinger, wasn't a bad basketball player for the Miss State basketball team. I think that team went to the NCAA tourney with out the Miss governor knowing they left the state and got beat by Loyola of Chicago.

I was pretty good at billiards, table tennis and bowling. Another thing I prided myself on in Jr High was Jacks. During recess most of us guys would go out to the play ground and play either basketball or football. However when it rained we weren't able to go outside. Some of the girls were playing Jacks and one of them smarted off that boys couldn't play (which was early blatant sexism) so I started playing and beat them all !!
GUYS RULE !!
