No defense adjustments, nothing. MD needs to quit shooting threes & Garrison is just terrible! Oweh has regressed. Are we afraid to guard the three? Thing is, I like him as a guy, seems like a great person. Bottom line, we could have gotten a better head coach.

I know this might sound absurd but does anyone think Pope not having hair is a problem? I know this might seem like "Village Idiot" logic, but how many coaches in the NIL/potal era to win a title have not had hair? I even asked Chat GPT. They said there haven't been any.

Maybe all we need is a coach with hair? Lets look at this logically: our last coach to win a title had hair. Pope looks to go 0-2 and does not.

I case my rest.

This showing tonight has been eye opening. I am now on the something is not right band wagon. No reason to be getting punked like this in a game. We looked completely lost. Bad shots, no defense, no rebounding, our shooting % from everywhere sucks. We are making a bad shooting team look like world beaters. I thought the Louisville game was an exception when we got down 18 and 20 and then found a way back. But the truth is we shot outside our minds to get back in the game. I hope they can find a way back today but Michigan St. looks alot better to me than Louisville. Here is a Kentucky fan who simply has no answers and is heartbroken. We have a team of role players.

He wasn't hired due to KSAs or resume. It was a hire made purely due to him having played here. If he was on 95 ucla or 97 Arizona title teams he wouldn't have been considered. I hope he can turn it around but this early season has been rough. Injuries again I get it but lack of effort and scheme seems obvious.

One of his biggest problems is evaluating talent. BG shouldn't even be on this team. And this probably won't be popular with our fans, but, Oweh is not Kentucky material. He's not the great player everyone, sports columnists included, have made him out to be. He cant shoot, only has eyes for the basket, and not smart with the ball. Best player on this team is Aberdeen. He's just playing out of position because our PG is down. Pope is terrible at putting the right line up on the court. And he definitely can't coach defense. But, defense is harder to play now because of all the walking, moving screens, palming allowed. I love Pope the person. Really hope he figures it out. But he is like a lost puppy right now.

Said that before the Louisville game several players had to be held back from one another before coming to blows.He didn’t know who they were or what it was about but just said it wasn’t a good situation at all. I didn’t ask who they were or what it was about.

The defensive problems we had last year are back again, that’s not coincidence when these guys are better players and athletes.
The shine has worn off cause this is completely unacceptable, may be a great guy but seems to be a bit over his head at this point of his career.

We could see someone kicked off the team or opting to leave. And who the hell knows what that means for their NIL.

Something tells me it might be oweh. The way hes playing, probably mad hes not in the NBA. But thats a total guess. It cpuld be Jelavic who misunderstood English and got in a fight.
