Quite a few basketball illiterate morons on this board don't quite grasp the importance of a PG on both ends of the court. Especially when the 2nd option is gone and you are relying on a SF or inexperienced Fr one who are your 3rd and 4th options. Of course they will bash Pope. They don't know any better.

He was 4th or 5th on my list, but I've been all in on him since the Duke game. He is going to have a great run here.

I get it. I had him as my #1 choice as I wanted it in-house and I was tired of mercenary coaches with no ties. Pope’s style of play sealed it for me.

If the team had played as hard against Vandy, Ark and Ole Miss as they did the last two games, we would have 3 more conference wins. Pope learned motivation from the master, I would hope he can instill that with his teams. Same level of effort every game. I liked what I saw these last two games , especially with all of the injuries.

You're frustrated that this thrown together team isn't 20-4, lol. Your expectations of a team that was thrown together is ridiculous and absurd.

You didn’t comprehend what I wrote. I said he needs to get max effort every game like Pitino did while here. Didn’t say I was frustrated with the team. Pope has to figure that out with the staff. Pay closer attention.
