Pope can't exactly go out and trash the JMI deal publicly. It's not like he has a lot of options but to act like it's a positive for the team, no matter what he thinks behind closed doors.

Maybe these recruits want more than they have since they are feeding two families, their own and their agent. No high school recruit is worth 3-4-5 million.
Agreed. I feel like people have become bewitched by this particular high school class, but this has been an historic class.

Pretty easy comeback question. If NIl is as strong as you say then why are we losing all the top recruits to our competitors? Hell I’m 57 years old and badly out of shape and feel I can contribute as much as some of our players do. Sign me up, if we are gonna overpay recruits that aren’t good enough to play here then it might as well be me.
