I think the observations are interesting off-season banter. With blue-tinted glasses on, I agree with the percentages below, but I do think Kelsey will succeed at UL. I hope both teams are good (with UK having the upper hand, of course).

Who will be more successful over the next five years: Pat Kelsey or Mark Pope?

That’s about right. I am glad to see little brother with at least a somewhat promising coach who isn’t a douchebag. Some people want them dead forever but what we need is the opposite——take that spotlight off the Tobacco Road rivalry every year and turn it on the Bluegrass.

That will never happen. Too many preppy east coast frat boy types working at ESPN. Guys with names like “Field Yates”.

I hope UK is good and U6 goes down in flames. Never understood wanting a rival to be good. I’ll get another rival to hate as needed.
I agree with sentiment for many rivals (Duke, UCONN, UCLA, etc.), but I have some sympathy for our fellow Kentuckians who forsook their birthright. I guess I always hope they redeem themselves.

This!

In the perfect world, UL would never win a game, in any sport, for eternity.

The reality of it is, they aren’t that far off!!! 😂

🖕🏻 to the city of Louisville, to the University of Louisville and to the sleaziest fanbase in college sports.

Why post this stuff? This is UK and nothing about UL should be allowed. No one give a hoot unless its a story were their giving up basketball.

I feel the same way about IU. Those wanting them to return to being good have clearly never interacted with their fan base other than passing in the hall. Very horrible fan base.

As a Kentuckian and a UK fan i think we need to cull the herd from the weak
in the wild kingdom the weak 'ul fans" would be eaten by a big cat
