Just what Norlander said. Pope didn't confirm or deny so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Seems odd, not really sure the benefit to redshirting.
Players without an NBA future can make millions in college after their freshmen year. Wasting a year for garbage minutes is what doesn't make sense. It's just my opinion, but I think we'll see a lot more redshirting because of NIL since you have a chance to leave college worth millions without ever sniffing the NBA.

Lowe 41% from three his freshman year at Pitt. Last year he was forced to put up bad shots since it couldn't find open guys and plus he had a busted finger part of the year on his shooting hand. I expect better numbers at UK

If Lowe maintains anything close to that thru-out the season we gonna be dangerous.
I doubt he'll be less than upper 30s from 3 point range; nobody that shoots free throws as well as Lowe is a 29% 3 point shooter. We're lucky to have a coach smart enough to know that 29% last year was an aberration.

One more thing about Lowe that just occurred to me. With his combination of speed and passing and dribbling ability, if he had shot 40% from 3 point range last year, he wouldn't be at UK now...he'd be getting ready for his 1st NBA season.
