Not disagreeing but....he has an oc. If he needs a dc then why are we paying him so much?

There are only 15 total guys and only 5 play at once. A basketball hc shouldn't need someone to run everything for them. They just shouldn't be the coach.

As advanced as college basketball is becoming, and yes it is a way more advanced game than even five years ago, I think you’re gonna start seeing a lot more coordinators. Problem for me isn’t that Pope isn’t a defensive coach —- I didn’t expect him to be. The problem for me is I don’t know yet if he’s getting the help he needs in that area. I would love to have someone fitted next to him that can handle that part of the game if needed and idc about the money.

Its still just five guys on the court no matter who complex people say its getting. If someone cant handle at least one aspect of the game themselves, they don't deserve to be a head coach especially at UKs level.
