Saw this today, Illinois State RS JR forward MiKyle McIntosh is transferring and will be immediately eligible to play, averaged 12.5 points and 5.6 boards for the Redbirds. Also can shoot from deep, was 32-92 from 3 last season. Would be a really nice depth add without knowing anything about the kid other than his stats from last year

Good find. Certainly the chance to make an NCAA tournament will be a factor for him - as his team was jobbed out of the dance this past season.

Wonder if any ISU footballers want to come to Evanston? Could upgrade the OL.....;)

MiKyle is one of the VERY FEW (only?) remaining grad transfer prospect who seems to have the athletic profile to help a B1G team. He played at "lowly" ISU but it wasn't because of lack of major conference options (apparently at least UCLA and Miami (FL) offered him), and have done quite well (shot almost 40% beyond the arc). It seems he made himself available for the NBA draft, but without an agent, to retain college eligibility. He is likely to become a grad transfer candidate in a few weeks (if his NBA try isn't fruitful). I have no idea whether his academic profile would be appropriate for NU.
