Possible new Portal Target

So this is probably unlikely now that we have signed Ogbole and the main need is a guard, but UMass starting center Wildens Leveque just entered the portal as a grad transfer. Not the most impressive stats but Noah Fernandes former teammate and could be solid depth at center if Ogbole isn’t ready to play immediately.

Visit a new part of the country. Have different experiences. Go to a school with a better academic program. Make future employment connections. Make more $. A ton a reasons.

I say take him if you can get him. We need quality depth and shooters are going to be hard to find in the portal right now. You’d be lucky to find one who can be a rotational player. If you do find two use the 13th scholarship. But don’t pass up a player who will allow Wolf to go to his more natural four spot and slide the rest of the depth up the lineup. Mag had to guard the five when we beat Ohio st last year. While he can let’s not do that again. Gavin and Aundre at the 3. Aundre can play a little two the same as Mag can play a little 3. Derek Noah one solid portal guard and Jamichael. It can’t be a problem to have too many 5s in the B1G.

In a perfect world I agree with you Scangg, I just think it’s very disappointing who’s left in the portal this late in June and it might be two wasted scholarships trying to fit our needs. Was only trying to go outside the box to find depth.
