He tweeted out he was so so so in love with UK and our facilities were fire. Something to that effect.
He is very pro UK. Also, I'm convinced he will not be a commit that backs out. Fun article that'll be out soon (my guess is Tuesday). Up to the editor though!
As I posted awhile back, one of Alex's coaching staff is from EKY and a huge UK fan. One would think that would help; alot.
He's been in at least twice before and there were hints on some sites that a commitment was near then. I asked the question on another thread...is UK holding him off hoping for other(s)?
I am very confident that UK is not holding him off. We address committing in the interview.
Was it wanting the parents and him to be 100% before committing so that we don't do the decommit/recommit scenario all next year?
Sometimes our staffs encourage recruits NOT to verbal at the time, if they seem to be open, or are thinking of taking other visits. I don't know if it's the case with this young man but it is very early for an '18 guy.

He is a 6'4 230 lb 4 Star (ESPN) DE from Wayne High in Ohio. He has interest from every major BIg 10 school, holds offers from Pitt, KY, Purdue..amongst others

Dave Berk had and article yesterday that said Alex wanted more offers...
Let me clarify. He likely (IMO) wants more offers, but not because he doesn't like ours. He's a very methodical young man that will not de-commit. He's on record as saying, if we pick up the wins, that it'll get crazy how many guys commit here. Obviously a Buckeye or Bama offer would concern me...but my money is on BBN
