On the loss: Good win for Northwestern, they're really solid and big in many positions. Came down to the three point line tonight, Aaron Falzon came up big. We weren't really able to get that under control. I was proud of the guys showing fight in the second half, we had our opportunities, but we weren't good enough.

On the 3-point shooting: it's a little bit of everything. Teams are choosing to give our guys some open looks, someone has to step up and knock down some shots, Teams have adjusted [to Indiana's driving offense], but we're not shooting the ball real well right now.

On the win: This was a big win for us tonight, being at 1-5 in the conference, going to Rutgers and getting a win, this was a huge game at home and our guys knew it. The story of the game is what Aaron Falzon did. You consider his journey and no one is more happy for him than me. He's in the training room working religiously, I just kept telling him, 'there's going to be a night coming up, trust me.' His energy was a shot in the arm for us, he helped us get a huge win.

On getting Falzon in the game: We were just struggling to score, I thought we were playing hard, it was a rock fight. I've always had confidence in Aaron, in his shooting, we needed a shot in the arm and he made three 3s in the first half and kept it going in the second. It was a heck of a night for him.

On the momentum gained from the win: You like for it to springboard you with some confidence. This league can beat you down, there's really good teams in this league, and when you get home you have to protect your home-court. We could ill-afford to lose this one, this game was of the utmost importance. There's always things you can do better, but our defense against Langford was great, he couldn't put up one of the huge nights that he can do.

On Pete Nance: He's going to be out for a while. It's okay long-term, but he's going to be out for a bit.

On hitting big shots: I think we just ran really good offense, I just got open and my teammates found me in the right spots.

On being in a zone: It's hard to explain when you get in a zone like that. It's been harder to get it here with injuries and stuff. Getting it in the game is the ultimate rush, the ultimate feeling.

On what this game means: It means everything to me. You got great teammates like Dererk, they have the ultimate belief in me. It's just the work I put in and the guys next to me motivating me to be better.

Dererk Pardon

On the offense: We were running a lot harder than we usually do, and it got some open threes for Aaron.

On the momentum that can come from the win: Oh definitely, every win is big for us, every win is a momentum booster to get into that next game.

On hitting one-thousand career points: It's crazy, I don't think I even scored 800 points in high school, it's surreal.

On the defense: We know they're a good driving team, we had to keep them off their favored hand, their favored move, we made it hard for them.

On if he models his game on an NBA player: I just try to be Dererk Pardon.
