I just listened to the post game presser with Mack. He said there was a lot of talking going back and forth with Malik and the Pitt center. Malik said something at the end and was called for a technical. Mack said he responded to the referee not in a kind way and was called for a technical. He said both him and Malik were wrong and he was glad it didn’t cost us the game. He said both of them will have to do better.

I heard as well Koz, but I really did not hear it as much as an apology. In fairness, Paul Rogers seemed to appreciate that any discussion about officiating would only result in more issues with the ACC.
I do believe that if both Mack and Capel present their case to the ACC, there could be punitive consequences on the officials.
