Hey Turnip, how you doing man? As for taters, give me fried, some Turnip greens, with vinegar, white or pinto beans with cornbread, diced onions and hot sauce. And a cold beer of your choice. Damn good.

I’m an onion man, never met one I didn’t like. As for taters, not a big fan of any particular one, just fry me some and I’m happy.

Growing up we always had a Sunday dinner featuring Fried chicken and mashed pototes w/brown gravey. My moms best meal. She taught me how to do it. I have had girlfriends I cooked for and they always said it was the best they ever tasted.
You cooked for my wife? Damn, bet you had to do the dishes. All kidding aside, that’s a chick magnet, a guy that can cook and a gal that loves to eat.
All meat no potatoes makes for a sad sad Sunday dinner.

Cooking/preparing mashed potatoes is an art.
My Mom always cooked more than enough and we had fried mashed potatoe cakes the next day. Good Stuff.
