**Potential Changes Coming to The Knight Report Forums**

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about some potential changes coming to the message boards.

There's been some talk from the higher ups about eliminating forums across the network that aren't generating enough posts or views to clear up space.

With that being said, the Women's Basketball forum has relatively low traffic compared to the other boards, so there's been some discussion about potentially merging it with the Men's Basketball forum here to create one Rutgers Basketball board. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up in case the change happens sooner rather than later.

The goal isn't to take anything away from women's basketball coverage or discussion, but rather I think it would offer a chance to get more eyeballs on the women's program and consolidate things. Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop incase it does end up happening.

The reason that board became dust bunnies was how atrocious the program was under Coqueise but also driven by many former womens hoops fans were disgusted by the cvs situation and abandoned worrying about womens hoops altogether

I think with the move to Redus and better recruiting things will pick up over there again

Hopefully no move will be made to merge WBB with the MBB board intill the 2026-27 season is completed in order to see if Redus can make the RU WWB program something to talk about and increase the traffic on this board so it will be lecf alone

As for merging with the MBB bosad, that will only cause trouble with those who have little use for the WBB program hijacking threads meant to talk about the team into arguing about the quality if women's basketball because of the insults being posted about women's basketball as an enjoyable sport to watch .

Best to move it, if a move is to be made , to be added to Olympic sports board and rename it other sports

I know what will save On3 a ton of server space, consolidating/eliminating all this damn Ads.

I know we can pay more and have less Ads but really though, the site experience has lessened significantly with the non stop ad ever-presence.

I like this suggestion. Keep Men's basketball pristine and people that want to talk LadyKnight Hoops can do it on what is currently called the Olympic sports board. You can move wrestling to the "Olympic Sports" board as well.

I believe the political board is pay as you post while the WBB forum is free to post.
No matter how little traffic is on the political board , it keeps the other boards free of politics on the whole, except for the occasional butthead that feels the need to hijack a thread into political BS..
Keep the PC board so the political arguments have a place to go outside of boards devoted to sports talk and not ruin a board by being added to it.

This is a college athletics board.
The large majority of people here come to get away from the daily nonsensical divisions of the day.
Come together for a common cause-to watch our horrible football team find new ways to lose.
Mass suffering is good for unity.

Given the choice-keep the women's hoops board and can the CE Board, the choice is a no brainer since this is an athletics website and not a political one.
