Don’t see this happening our front court is stronger and deeper than the Huskies that’s why he left.

Don’t see how we would have room for him, especially considering he wants to start. That is not likely with BG/MD/JQ/AJ/MM already on the roster in the frontcourt.

I mean I’m not really sure why you guys are still thinking we’re adding players? If Oweh comes back we’re borderline crowded as is.
He's a freshmen. Hopefully Pope is planning farther ahead than just next season.

I would like to add another 6’8-7’ big nasty banger in the post. I think we will need that in the SEC and come March.

Probably not at that position but Pope is definitely still contacting kids from the portal so he apparently is still interested in adding someone for whatever reason

There’s something weird going on here. This kid was down to Michigan St., Ohio St., UCONN, and UNC in October before opening things up completely and committing to Washington one month later. A few months later and he reopens again?

I liked his game but I don’t think Pope will try to add him. I know we recruited him for a little bit before he committed.

Think he is just one of those guys who many have said being a guy that doesn't want to compete for his position. Believe Washington just added a player who would compete for the starting position and he doesn't like that. That's what I have heard from some others anyway.

Yeah it seems like he may be a guy who gets tampered with and runs to the best offer he thinks he can get, only to find out the grass wasn’t greener.

Maybe Karaban is staying in the draft.

Any new kid who reopens their commitment will automatically be linked to Kentucky by "insiders" and fans.

How are players able to de-commit and go elsewhere if the portal is closed? Sorry I don’t have a lot of portal knowledge

I figure the only people in BBN that do not want to add another player or two are the 12 players we already have.

Every time we add another player, that’s potentially less minutes for them.

Fans may not understand this, but players and former players do.

He’s a top 30 freshman. He didn’t decommit on April 29th to go compete with 5 guys in the front court.
Are you him or his dad? How do you know what he wants?

Some of you all are so close-mindedly sure of yourselves.

Garrison and quaintence are huge. We also have jelavic and Moreno
We don't need another 6'10 + guy

So you think a a guy coming off surgery who is below average in offensive skill RAW and a guy not playing at over double figures is the answer. I don’t see it please explain

JQ is already twice the offensive player that Amari Williams was. The averaged right at 11 a game as a 16-/17 year-old. Amari had no offense besides a put back. JQ has room to improve no doubt but him at his worst is as good as Amari at his best

Players do get better from year to year. Try not to forget that
