The 'box' reference allows you place more horses into the bet. Increases the cost however and I don't have to determine the order they come in.

I've heard of boxing 3 in a trifecta but not 4, that's a strange bet, didn't know you could even add an extra horse for a trifecta or exacta.
I guess it's just make four different box trifecta picks.
