I have not been feeling it because the Huskers O-line has been so beat up, but now that Foster is back, and Conrad is holding his own, and we are looking somewhat healthy there, I'm feeling it now:

Huskers 21
them 16

Yeah, it would be nice to have everyone healthy. I'm not feeling it the last couple of weeks due to TA and his injuries. Guess I just need to roll the dice. I said NU 24-10 last week, so...

Bruce Read is pissed after reading the Husker Board and whips the ST units into shape and they score a TD on kickoff return and punt return!!!

Oh wait, Iowa will probably do that :(

Iowa 24
Nebraska 13

Not trying to say you are wrong, but what makes you think Iowa can score 24 points? Nebraska's defense has been playing pretty good other than the OSU debacle. Holding Maryland to 11 yards rushing is pretty damn good. Iowa's offense struggled a lot. I can see their ST getting a TD or two this weekend and that is about it. I could very easily be wrong and it will suck to admit it if I am.

If the defense plays like it has been, the other thing that would allow them to score 24 would be our QB throwing multiple INT's again like last year... that or special teams sucking even worse than before :)

N 17 - Iowa 13. This game may be a snooze fest with little to no offense.

I've read on here that Nebraska severally lacks a pass rush. That will help the pawing as will getting their top TE back. Iowa rushed for over 100 yards against Michigan so I'm not worried on that front. I think Wadley scores on a long run or two. The Iowa OLine is healthy and really clicking.

Not to split hairs because it's still good defense but Maryland ran for 43 yards and had -22 yards on sacks. Still impressive except for the fact that Maryland is not good at running the ball.

Iowa's MVP this season might be the punter. He has flipped the field on numerous occasions. Lightborn hasn't been good so I think Iowa wins the field position battle tomorrow.

I just don't see Nebraska as an elite defense. Or it's just wishful thinking that Iowa will look half way decent on offense.

They, Maryland, averaged 217 yards a game on the ground before our game.

Thanks for the stat. Iowa still runs for 150+ or they lose bad.

I think how well Iowa does on 3down conversions and how well they limit Nebraska to convert will decide the game..

Iowa isn't very good on 3down and that is we're Nebraska has the biggest advantage because they are one of the better teams in the country at 19th. converting on 3rd down.
